Verstappen aims to recapture the car’s FP1 feel and position for a strong qualifying performance. Despite concerns about competing with McLaren, Verstappen is focusing on fighting for a podium with Ferrari and Mercedes. Additionally, Verstappen is close to a potential race ban due to penalty points but Red Bull is prepared with alternative drivers if needed.
